Salvation Morning

Joy really does come in the morning!  I needed something good to happen today after the weekend I had.  The KidsPointe lesson today was about salvation, and the children were led to pray to receive Christ if they wanted to.  Several kids repeated the prayer aloud or raised their hands to say that they prayed the prayer in their hearts.  It’s always a good idea to confirm what’s going on in a child’s mind when this happens, but all the parents were told, and I think there were some genuine decisions going on.  Hearts are hearing and minds are learning, even when it feels like the message is getting crowded out with other noise and commotion.  Of course ten minutes later I had to rescue a child that was being held captive in the cabinet by an older child.  Oh, well, it was nice while it lasted.
